This home page is dedicated to all the courageous
men from Stokes County, North Carolina who made the ultimate
sacrifice in defense of their country. President John F. Kennedy
said it best when he said, "A nation reveals itself not only by the
men it produces, but also by the men it honors, the men it
remembers." By honoring these men who have sacrificed their lives to
protect our freedom, we insure that their heroic spirit will live
on. Let us also not forget the veterans from all wars, including the
dedicated men and women of today's Armed Forces who put their lives
on the line everyday to preserve our freedom.
If you have a relative or know of someone from Stokes County, North
Carolina who was killed in action (KIA), died of wounds (DOW)
received in battle, or missing in action (MIA), please let me know
and I will add their names to the list. You may write to the address
below or e-mail me.
